PSP Go see’s big price cut

From November 1st, Sony’s PSP Go is getting a pretty hefty price cut as it’s RRP will be reduced from £225 to £159 UK. Sony also announced the price of the handheld will see a similar reduction in the USA and Japan.

The price cut will no doubt be a welcomed one due to PSP Go sales said to be much less than anticipated since its launch.

In other PSP news, strong rumours have been circulating regarding a ‘PSP2’ which is supposedly in development and is rumoured for a winter 2011 release. As usual Sony have refused to comment on the rumours, despite that back in August Mortal Combat producer Shaun Himmerick stated he had a PSP2 in his studio.
